Managing Hepatic Disease with Nutraceutical Innovation - WePaticare®: Global Support to Liver health and function

25 Oct 2025
Business & Innovation Theatre

The liver is an important organ in many essential functions. It has an impressive regenerative ability; however certain diseases can impair liver regeneration. The response to injury depends on various factors, and although some damage is reversible, severe damage can lead to cell death and development of chronic diseases.

Supporting liver function and reducing its overload are ways to improve its efficiency and prevent impairment.

This session takes a practical look into new non-pharmaceutical therapeutic strategies that target improving antioxidant capabilities, namely glutathione activity, gut-liver axis and microbiota balance, lipid metabolism and insulin resistance, as well as detoxication capacity, which may provide safer and more efficient methods.

WePaticare® improves the ability of the liver to fight oxidative stress by modulating several antioxidant agents, particularly glutathione, which is the most important antioxidant in the liver. It also helps gut regulation, improving digestion and immunity; improves lipid metabolism, decreasing fat accumulation, lipid peroxidation and preventing cell damage; protects the liver from inflammation, fibrosis and increases its regenerative capacity; enhances detoxication capabilities and includes choleretic properties.
