The Singapore Veterinary Association is the professional society representing the interests of Veterinary Surgeons and the Veterinary Community in Singapore.
Our objectives are to promote and advance the veterinary art and the practice of veterinary and allied sciences in Singapore; support, protect and foster the character, status, interests, honour and dignity of the veterinary profession and; inform and acquaint the government & public of Singapore on matters relating to veterinary science and the veterinary profession.
In 2021, the Singapore Veterinary Nurses and Technicians Chapter (SVNTC) was formalised under the SVA. This was a grounds up initiative by a small volunteer group of veterinary nurses and technicians. The SVNTC seeks to serve and represent the veterinary nurses and technicians and to provide a collective voice while keeping the standards of practice to safeguard animal health and welfare
