The company's mission is to independently inform, guide and make best-practice recommendations for the diagnosis, treatment and control of companion animal parasites in the tropics and sub-tropics, with the aim of protecting animal and human health.
As a not-for-profit organisation our object is to pursue charitable purposes, including; to research, develop, prepare, publish and disseminate information to promote best practice recommendations for the diagnosis, treatment and control of parasites in companion animals in the tropics and sub-tropics; and to provide education, information and resources to minimise the risk of parasitic and vector-borne disease transmission between companion animal and humans in the tropics and sub-tropics; and to present lectures, webinars, workshops and short courses aimed at training veterinary, medical and public health professionals on the objectives of the company.
We publish guidelines to assist veterinarians to diagnose, treat and prevent parasitic infections in comoanion animals worldwide. These guidelines have been translated into many languages and are available at our website.
