Dr. Teo graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London and is a recipient of the Singapore Ministry of National Development EDGE Scholarship. After years as a regulator and in industry development, Dr. Teo is now a Managing Partner at VetTrust Singapore, and is a practicing veterinarian at Canopy Veterinary Centre. He is the current President of the Singapore Veterinary Association (SVA). Through a grounds-up initiative in 2021, Dr. Teo and a team of Singapore-based veterinary nurses and technicians founded the Singapore Veterinary Nurses and Technicians Chapter under the SVA, with the broad objective of advancing the veterinary nursing and technician profession.
