Chong Su Via has built a 19-year professional career in the companion animal industry, starting as a pet groomer before advancing to veterinary nursing, driven by a lifelong passion for veterinary medicine. In 2022, she founded the Malaysian Association of Veterinary Nurses and Assistants (MAVNA), recognizing a critical need for skilled veterinary nurses and the importance of regulation and recognition of the profession in Malaysia. MAVNA aims to advocate for accessible and affordable education for veterinary nurses, striving to raise the standard of veterinary care across the country through comprehensive training and professional support.
