Following graduation from Murdoch University (Perth, Australia) in 2008, Jayson worked in general practice and obtained his membership in small animal surgery of the Australian & New Zealand College. This was followed by an internship and surgical residency at Fitzpatrick Referrals in United Kingdom. Following the completion of his residency, he joined the Royal Veterinary College at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals. During his time there, he passed and obtained his specialist surgeon qualifications (Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons). He returned to his home country of Singapore as head of the surgery department in VES Hospital, forming an integral part of their multi-disciplinary veterinary specialist team.
