Peter Irwin is a veterinary academic clinician, specialist in canine medicine, and a parasitologist with many years’ experience of teaching and working in Southeast Asia. His research is into tick-borne diseases of companion animals, wildlife and humans at Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia, where he is Director of the Cryptick Laboratory and Professor of Veterinary Clinical Science.
