Peter Irwin is a veterinary academic clinician, specialist in canine medicine, and a parasitologist with many years’ experience of teaching and working in Southeast Asia. His research is into tick-borne diseases of companion animals, wildlife and humans at Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia. He holds the position of Professor Emeritus at Murdoch University.
