Prof. Hobi graduated from the Vetsuisse Faculty, University of Zurich in 2007 and completed a three-year residency in animal dermatology at LMU in Munich. He has authored and published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals and is a reviewer of the Veterinary Dermatology journal. Currently, he works as a Clinical Associate Professor at City University in Hong Kong with a research focus in fungal diseases, especially Malassezia. He is part of the administrative committee of the WAVD, the current chair of the Examination Committee and is a Member-at large of the AiCVD and a program co-chair of the ECVD-residents education day.
