
Steven De Decker

Steven is an Associate Professor and the Head of the Neurology and Neurosurgery service of the Royal Veterinary College, University of London. He graduated in 2005 from Ghent University in Belgium. After graduation, he performed there a Rotating Internship and a PhD in the diagnosis and treatment of cervical spondylomyelopathy ("wobbler syndrome") in dogs. Steven completed his Residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery at the Royal Veterinary College and is now a European and MRCVS recognised specialist in veterinary neurology. Steven has published widely and most of his research focuses on spinal disease, neurosurgery and clinical reasoning in neurology. He enjoys teaching and contributes therefore regularly to continuous education activities around the world.
