Singapore Vet Attracts More International Partners

CloserStill Media – organisers of Europe’s largest veterinary event the London Vet Show – warmly welcomes Hong Kong Veterinary Association (HKVA), New Zealand Veterinary Association (NZVA), Myanmar Veterinary Association (MVA), Mongolian Small Animal Veterinary Association (MoSAVA) and Pashu Chikitsak Mahasangh (Veterinary Services Association) (PCM) as official partnering associations to the newly launched Singapore Vet.

After CloserStill Media’s 10-year success organising the London Vet Show, the inaugural launch in Asia will debut at Suntec Singapore in Singapore on October 11-12, 2019. This event is a platform for veterinary professional from all over Asia to gather and gain CPE accredited veterinary education, via clinical and business content in a multi stream programme.

The clinical content streams were developed by the Royal Veterinary College – who also creates the world-famous London Vet Show conference programme. Sessions will be presented by world-class leaders and visionary thinkers in veterinary medicine. Delegates will also benefit from the opportunity to network with the vet industry leaders and hundreds of regional and local leading suppliers.

About Hong Kong Veterinary Association

Hong Kong Veterinary Association (HKVA) is a voluntary organisation for persons involved in the Veterinary Profession in Hong Kong (veterinary surgeons, students, nurses and assistants). It was founded in 1982 and receives no funding from the government. The Hong Kong Veterinary Association is also a member of World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) and Federation of Asian Veterinary Association (FAVA).

About New Zealand Veterinary Association

The New Zealand Veterinary Association (NZVA) is the only membership association representing New Zealand veterinarians. About Myanmar Veterinary Association 

Myanmar Veterinary Association is a long-standing institution established since 1974 and it is the only non-profit NGO for veterinarians in Myanmar. MVA is a member of World Veterinary Association (WVA) and Federation of Asian Veterinary Association (FAVA). MVA carries out the activities on organizing seminars, workshops and conference including annual paying of respect to senior veterinarians.

About Mongolian Small Animal Veterinary Association 

Mongolian Small Animal Veterinary Association was established in 2015 and now have 60 members, including 12 small animal veterinary clinics. MoSAVA is trying to work with Veterinary Management Agency, research institutes and the Mongolian Veterinary School to develop companion animal CE-related activities. Also, to be connected to their peers to help to advance companion animal health and welfare through the WSAVA’s global veterinary community.

About Pashu Chikitsak Mahasangh (Veterinary Services Association) 

Pashu Chikitsak Mahasangh is a registered body formed as apex organisation of State Veterinary Associations to work for the welfare of the veterinarian’s working in Government service sector. It was concluded that there is an urgent need of an organisation at national level to case for welfare and interests of veterinarian’s at Government of India Level.
